Sunshine Coast, it's your turn!

Our Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training is coming to Caloundra, providing an opportunity for people across the Sunshine Coast to build practical skills and confidence in supporting someone experiencing a mental health problem or crisis.

The course is available free of charge for the Trusted Care community, including participants, carers, healthcare and support workers.

Navigating disability, complex health needs and life's challenges can have a significant impact on mental wellbeing, not only for individuals but also for the people who support them. This nationally accredited two-day course equips participants with the knowledge and tools to recognise the signs of mental health concerns, provide initial support and connect people with appropriate professional help.

Whether you're supporting a loved one, working in healthcare or simply want to strengthen your mental health literacy, this training can help make a real difference.

Queenslanders shouldn’t have to choose between accessing healthcare and the cost of getting there.

Cystic Fibrosis Queensland is continuing to advocate for meaningful reform to the Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme (PTSS), including the establishment of a permanent stakeholder reference group to ensure regional, rural and remote voices are heard.

We need our community’s help.

We encourage you to contact your local State MP and share why accessible and affordable patient travel matters. Personal stories and community voices make a difference and help strengthen our advocacy.

Attention Sunshine Coast locals!

We are bringing our accredited Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training to the Sunshine Coast, giving our community the opportunity to build practical skills and confidence in supporting someone experiencing a mental health problem or crisis.

This nationally accredited course will be delivered face-to-face over two days and includes an official MHFA manual, resources and light refreshments. The course will be offered free of charge to the Trusted Care community, as part of our ongoing commitment to mental health and wellbeing.

Just like physical first aid, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) equips people with practical skills to recognise the signs of a mental health challenge, provide initial support and guide someone towards appropriate help.

At Trusted Care, our MHFA courses are designed to build confidence, reduce misunderstanding and help create more supportive communities. Whether you want to support friends, family, colleagues or clients, this training can make a real difference.

Our next 2-day MHFA course takes place on 4–5 June in Ipswich and is free for members of the Trusted Care community.
