Our thoughts are with the people of Nepal and all those affected by the devastating natural disaster and the hardship communities are facing. 🇳🇵

Having been so warmly welcomed into Nepal, it is heartbreaking to see communities in this beautiful country experiencing such loss and uncertainty.

During our time in Nepal, we were incredibly fortunate to be supported by Volunteers Initiative Nepal (VIN). Their team looked after our group with such warmth and generosity, while also giving us an insight into the important work they do alongside communities across Nepal.

We also learnt about VIN’s work supporting communities following previous natural disasters, and we have enormous respect for the commitment of their team. We are sure they will once again be doing all they can to support those who need it.

To our friends, colleagues and communities across Nepal — you are very much in our thoughts. ❤️

🌴 WE’RE GOING BACK TO LOVINA! 🇮🇩

Lovina was one of Global Teacher’s first programs, and it remains one of our absolute favourites. In 2027, we’re heading back to Bali’s beautiful north coast for 10 days of professional learning, genuine connection and a pretty incredible Bali experience.

🌴 GILI T 2027 — PROGRAM UPDATE

Things are coming together for our January Professional Exchange Program on Gili Trawangan!

We’ve now locked in 9 nights at the beautiful 4-star Hotel Vila Ombak, giving the group a pretty special island base for the program.

✈️ We’re also adding an extra arrival option at no additional cost. For those who would prefer not to take the fast boat from Bali, participants can choose an included domestic flight to Lombok on arrival, before transferring across to Gili T.

🏫 Our school placements are also confirmed, coordinated with our trusted local partner who Global Teacher has worked alongside across Indonesia for the past four years.

The professional side of the program includes a five-day school placement, working alongside local teachers, followed by a full-day Professional Development Workshop with local educators.

And outside the school? Private island-hopping and snorkelling, a Lombok day trip exploring waterfalls and local villages, plenty of free afternoons, and nine nights to enjoy life on Gili T. 🌊🐢

As our only program running across the December–January school holiday period, we expect Gili T to be a popular one and places to fill quickly.
