❄️💦 OUR WATER DRAGONS CAFÉ IS KEEPING ITS COOL! 💦🐉 Just in time for summer, we’ve done something really cool for our Café staff and volunteers! ☀️

Thanks to a generous $5,000 grant from Wynnum Manly Leagues Club, our P&C has purchased and installed an air conditioning unit in the Café kitchen! 🎉🙌

With commercial cooking equipment and the demands of hospitality work, our kitchen can get VERY warm during summer.

This upgrade will help provide:

🌬️ A cooler, more comfortable working environment
💚 Improved comfort and safety for our staff and volunteers
🐉 Continued service to our wonderful school community

🏫 A little piece of history! Wynnum West State School is 104 years old, and this is the first time our canteen kitchen has had air conditioning! What a milestone!

❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU to Wynnum Manly Leagues Club for supporting our little school and community.

As a volunteer-run P&C, grants like this help us improve our facilities while keeping more of our fundraising dollars available for student-focused initiatives. 🎓👏

Families, please join us in thanking Wynnum Manly Leagues Club! Give them a follow on Facebook and popping in for a meal. 🍽️

🎶 NEW MUSIC STAND BANNERS! 🎶Our P&C is excited to officially unveil our new WWSS Music stand banners!

A huge THANK YOU to Australian Country Choice for supporting Wynnum West State School through their Community Stakeholder GRANT❤️

The WWSS P&C Association was thrilled to be successful in securing funding for these fantastic new banners, helping us proudly showcase and support our school music program.

Our wonderful Music Teachers, Mrs Finlay and Mrs Bawtree, gave the new banners their first official outing this morning during the School Band performance on parade — and they looked fantastic!

We are incredibly grateful to Australian Country Choice for investing in our school and helping us celebrate the talents of our students.

Thank you, Australian Country Choice, for your generous support of Wynnum West State School!
