Happy Sunday folks 🐾

The moment you’ve been waiting for has finally arrived. It’s time to meet our new Villagers!

A huge thank you to Coastal Critter Carriers for safely transporting our babies to the Village. 🚐❤️

Our noisiest arrival was definitely our ginger kitty. 🧡 He was not impressed about being unloaded last, as he was eager to get to his foster home. He even made biscuits in his carrier on the way!

As always, we can’t thank our amazing carers and team enough for continuing to turn up for the animals. We truly couldn’t do what we do without you. ❤️

To the pound staff who do what they can with the limited resources they have — we appreciate you and together, we can give these animals a tomorrow and make a real difference. 🐾

Over the coming days, we’ll introduce each of our new arrivals and reveal their new Village names. 🥰

For now sit back, enjoy the cuteness and welcome our newest Villagers! 🐶🐱

Our next forgotten friend is Hollie. 💕

Hollie arrived on the same bus as Poppy and is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Don’t let those sad eyes fool you though as she is living her very best foster life. 🥰

Someone did enquire about Hollie but sadly were a no show at the meet. 💔 Luckily, Hollie has no idea and has simply carried on being her gorgeous, happy self.

She absolutely loves a good wrestle with her foster sister Hope, who is a Village Tails foster fail. Watching these two together is guaranteed to make you smile. ❤️

When Hollie first arrived, she just wanted to be held and cuddled. Thanks to her wonderful foster family, she has grown in confidence and discovered just how wonderful life can be.

Now all she needs is a family of her very own. 🏡💕

🌙 In a rural pound far, far away…

Eight dogs and one cat are settling down for the night, completely unaware that tomorrow their lives are about to change forever. ❤️

Tomorrow they will board the freedom bus and make the long journey to the Village, where our team and their amazing carers will be waiting to cheer them home. 🚌🐾

Words can’t express our gratitude to everyone who makes this possible, but especially our incredible carers for opening their homes and hearts. Some are old hands at this, while for others, tomorrow is their very first day as part of our Village family. We see every single one of you, and we are so grateful. ❤️

Tomorrow they will be bathed (because let's be honest, it’s usually very overdue! 😂), enjoy a full belly, a comfy bed and perhaps their very first toys and things they can finally call their own.

The pound has done an incredible job keeping these babies safe. But tomorrow, we take over. Tomorrow, we show them what it means to be safe, loved and part of a family. 🏡❤️

And, of course, we’ll share the much-anticipated arrival video as soon as we can!

Tonight they sleep in the pound. Tomorrow, they come home. 🐾❤️

While there is so much happening behind the scenes in the Village as we get ready to welcome our new intake this weekend, let’s not forget about some of our dogs who have been waiting a little longer. ❤️

Poppy wasn’t even meant to arrive at the Village. She accidentally hopped aboard the Freedom Bus, but from the moment she arrived, she has embraced every new adventure with enthusiasm proving that sometimes the best surprises are the unexpected ones. 🥰

Some dogs simply have a way of stealing your heart… and Poppy is one of them.

Quite honestly, she is the most beautiful girl, both inside and out. She also has a cheeky side (noted in the outdoor table pic 🤣)

Let’s make it our mission to find Poppy her people. 🏡❤️

And while we search, foster mum Dawn is making sure Poppy is getting the very best care, love and adventures along the way.

Come on, Villagers let’s find this beautiful girl her forever family. 💕

Who remembers Evie?

This little lady is now officially known as Lumi Eve. Her new family wanted to make sure Evie would always be part of her name — a beautiful tribute to her first home and to foster mum Theresa and her family, who cared for her so lovingly ❤️

And it sounds like Lumi has landed exactly where she belongs!

A few words from her family:

“She still absolutely loves her balls (you can never have too many!). She even decided to help herself to the spare ones Papa bought for her. Her cheeky little personality is really starting to shine. She keeps us laughing every day with her silly antics, endless curiosity, and boundless enthusiasm for life.

Thank you again for trusting us with this beautiful little girl. We absolutely adore her and couldn’t imagine our family without her (even though she is our wild child).”

From little Evie to Lumi Eve, this girl has found her forever family — and we couldn’t be happier for her. 🥰

Our final SOS is for this beautiful young fella. 💔

Like so many dogs in need, we know very little about his story. What we do know is that he’s sitting in a rural pound, waiting… and no one came looking for him.

He’s a stunning young male Kelpie with the kindest eyes. He’s friendly, loves pats and is ready to stretch those long legs and finally feel safe again.

He shouldn’t have to spend another night wondering what happened to his family. He needs someone to say YES. ❤️

This young Bull Arab x was found wandering alone in a rural area.

No microchip. No family searching for him. No one coming forward to say, “He’s mine.”

Somewhere along the way, someone decided he didn’t matter.

But here at Village Tails, every animal matters. ❤️

Right now, he is sitting alone in a pound, scared and confused, hoping someone will see him and give him a chance.

We don’t know much about him yet. We don’t know what his past looks like or how his story began.

But we do know this…

He needs our village.

He needs someone to say YES and give him a safe place to land while we work out the rest.

🩷 A beautiful female Greyhound was once somebody's pet. She knows what it feels like to have a home, but now she finds herself scared and overwhelmed in the noisy pound. She's a shy, gentle girl who simply needs a quiet place where she can feel safe again. Due to being a greyhound mix we would say no felines in her foster home just to be sure.
