The Olave Program is for members of Guiding in Australia aged 18-30, and focuses on the three aspect

Just a few weeks ago one of our Olaves spent the day on the water with Guides from Burpengary and Rochedale. With such warm weather the water team helped Guides practice capsizes, and complete some of their Boating Trefoils 1 and 2!

Soon a few of them will again be on the water with Guides from all over the Southern Cross Region, will we see you then?

Even though the Gang Show Season has well and truly wrapped up for most of our Gang Shows around the country, our Olaves did head to Brisbane Gang Show recently to support their 75th Season!

We loved being able to see some of our Olave friends from Olaves, Olaves, and Moreton Region after the show.

However, if you are in Tas it is not too late, you can get tickets for their last show of the season on October 2nd in Ulverstone! Otherwise we can't wait to see what they come up with next year at !

🌟 National Youth Volunteer Week 2026 🌟

This week, we're celebrating our amazing Girl Guides Queensland youth Leaders who are making a difference in their communities every day.

Despite facing challenges such as cost of living pressures and mental health concerns, young people continue to step up, give back and create positive change.

Through Guiding, our youth members and Leaders are mentoring others, supporting their communities, caring for the environment and developing the skills to lead with confidence.

Young people aren't waiting until tomorrow to make a difference. They're making an impact right now.

Our Olaves had such a fabulous time visiting Kenilworth Dairies and having lunch with some gorgeous Highland Cows! 🐮
