The Courier-Mail Children’s Fund is proud to support charities making a real difference in their local communities.

For more than 100 years, we’ve partnered with organisations across Queensland from regional towns to metro communities - helping back programs that support children, young people and families. In FY26, we’re proud to share that we disbursed $576,468 to charities doing this important work.

That support helps create real impact where it’s needed most.

If you’re part of a charity supporting Queensland youth, we encourage you to consider applying. And if you’d like to help, there are plenty of ways to get involved, donate, run a fundraiser, or support the Fund so we can keep backing charities in our community.

Yesterday our Bowen Hills team rolled up their sleeves to help make sure hungry kids don’t miss out at school.
In just one hour, around 35 volunteers from across the newsroom, sales floor and support teams made 1,556 sandwiches with Eat Up Australia.

These lunches will head to schools between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast this week – giving kids the fuel they need to learn, join in and just be children.

We’re proud to support Eat Up Australia as a Courier-Mail Children’s Fund charity partner, and so grateful to every volunteer who buttered, wrapped, stacked and encouraged each other along the way. 💛

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Persone Restaurant to support The Courier-Mail Children’s Fund. All proceeds go directly to TRACTION for Young People, providing hands-on mentorship for kids in need.
