Anna has been studying Chen-style Tai Chi for more than 20 years. She is a 13th-generation disciple of Chen-style Tai Chi. Her teacher is Sun Guoyan, a 12th-generation Chen-style Tai Chi disciple who resides in Toronto, Canada. Her grandmaster is the world-renowned Tai Chi master Chen Zhenglei, a direct 11th-generation descendant of the Chen family lineage and a recognised representative inheritor of Chen-style Tai Chi, a nationally listed item of China’s Intangible Cultural Heritage.

In addition to winning first place in Tai Chi and second place in Tai Chi Sword at the 2026 Wushu Kung Fu Championships in Brisbane, Anna also competed in a Tai Chi competition in China last year and achieved second place nationally.

QGMC members attended the official launch of the Queensland Chinese Affairs Committee at the Tattersalls Club Brisbane, a committee to support all Chinese communities in Queensland 🇨🇳🇦🇺there was fantastic entertainment by the Shaolin Kung Fu Guan with a lion dance and Kung Fu display along with the official unveiling of the committee 🌏
