South Sudanese in Queensland Vision: To improve the wellbeing of the people of the South Sudanese origin residing in Queensland State.

Mission: To unify South Sudanese community and contributes positively to the economic & social fabric of the larger Queensland society. The Republic of South Sudan gained independence on July 9th 2011 after a lengthy struggle. As such, South Sudanese in Queensland founded and established South Sudanese Community Association in Queensland to cater for the welfare and wellbeing, advocate on behalf o

f the people of South Sudan residing in the State of Queensland, Australia. The organisation was launched in conjunction with the Independence of the Republic of South Sudan.

Ref: Message of Condolences

Dear Fellow Christians, Family, Friends, and Colleagues,

On behalf of the South Sudanese Community Association of Queensland Inc., it is with profound sadness that we convey our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the faith community of Christians, family worldwide, friends, and colleagues on the passing of His Lordship, Rt. Rev. Bishop Nathaniel Garang Anyieth, the former Bishop of the Diocese of Bor and Dean of the Province.

We are deeply concerned that a true servant of God, who dedicated his entire life to ministry, has passed on. He faithfully preached the Gospel, which touched thousands of lives, and led with humility, integrity, and love.

Though he has passed on, his greatest legacy of faith, compassion, love, kind, and service will live on in all who were blessed by his teachings and leadership.

May his precious soul rest in peace, eternally with God's angels and all saints.

In the spirit of unity that transcends tribal boundaries, South Sudan is our universal tribe for all 64 tribes plus in South Sudan, and South Sudanese Community is our universal organisation which brings together all South Sudanese from different tribes, religions, political, gender, and others aspects.

Therefore, let's use South Sudan name as our universal tribe and the South Sudanese Community as our universal organization to unite us all, regardless of our different ethnicities (tribes), religions, gender, and political parties or views, to bring us together as South Sudanese wherever we reside.
