Six Goalsetters members enjoyed a fantastic day at the Brisbane Division Conference yesterday, held at the beautiful heritage-listed Hamilton Hall.

Our members entertained and inspired across the contests, Sunny won the Humorous Speech Contest representing his other club in Area 5, Suzanne placed 2nd, Akila placed 2nd in the Evaluation Contest, and Suzanne also placed 3rd in the International Speech Contest.

Celebrating Richard Klysz, a Distinguished Toastmaster whose leadership has been part of Goalsetters Toastmasters from the very beginning.

Richard was Club President when Goalsetters was chartered in 1995, and went on to serve again in 1996–1997 and 2011–2012. Beyond the club, he has given generously at the Area level as Area Director (2017–2018) and continues to play a significant role in our contests as a Chief Judge.

Thank you, Richard, for your leadership, and lasting contribution to building confident communicators and leaders.
