Todos pusimos en alto el nombre de nuestro país, Venezuela, compartiendo nuestra cultura, nuestras tradiciones y el orgullo de nuestras raíces.
Fue un día lleno de amor, alegría y espíritu familiar. ❤️🇻🇪💃🏻🕺🏻✨

Un día pensado para disfrutar en familia, celebrar nuestras raíces y compartir juntos en comunidad. Tendremos una jornada increíble llena de diversión para todas las edades:

Last week, a group of Venezuelan community leaders had the opportunity to meet with representatives from the Australian Government at both Federal and State levels — including the Department of Home Affairs (DOHA), Queensland Police, and the Office of Multicultural Affairs Queensland (MAQ).

During the meeting, we shared the mixed emotions that many Venezuelans in Australia are experiencing: the hope and optimism generated by recent political developments, but also the pain of being far from home. Many in our community continue to face uncertainty, especially those with asylum status who remain concerned about their safety and future.

This meeting was a meaningful step. The Australian Government listened, asked questions, and showed genuine interest in understanding our community’s situation. It provided a space for dialogue, reflection, and ongoing engagement.

It was an important, emotional, and hopeful moment for the Venezuelan community in Australia. 💛🇻🇪
