What an incredible effort from St Teresa's Catholic College! π
Next week, Team STCC will travel to Brisbane to take part in , having already raised an amazing $11,051 to help prevent domestic and family violence.
A special shout-out to student Finley, who has personally raised more than $2,000 through the creation and sale of handcrafted wooden charcuterie boards at local markets. What an extraordinary example of initiative, generosity and commitment to the cause.
Through their βWhy We Runβ program, the St Teresa's Catholic College team continues to embrace the spirit of Darkness to Daylight, and show the impact that can be made when a community comes together behind an important cause.
Students have been learning about domestic and family violence prevention, respectful relationships, and how to contribute to cultures of safety and inclusion β alongside fundraising, community activities, awareness raising and advocacy.
Thank you to Mark Roberton, Belinda, Ronel, Matt, and all the students, staff, families and supporters who have made this incredible effort possible. We canβt wait to welcome you to Brisbane next week, and celebrate with you at Darkness to Daylight.
