This week and next week we are selling raffle tickets at The Brim Hotel as part of the major Fundraiser for the Warracknabeal Hockey Club. Tickets are just $2 each and there are some great prizes on offer just have a look at the photos on this post. Raffle tickets sale close on the 12 th of September with winners will receive a message advising them of prizes won as the raffle drawing will take place at the Clubs end of year function in mid September. So please help in supporting this wonderful sporting club by taking part in the raffle and be in the running to win some great prizes. Tickets will be available from the bar at The Brim Hotel up until the 12 th of September.

Who remembers where you were during the early hours of September 23rd 1983.

To celebrate the 43 anniversary of Australia winning the Americas Cup in September 1983 we are going to be running a fundraiser for the tri state games in Mildura in November this year

Who remembers Bob Hawk's famous "everyones a Bum" speech well for the month of September relive those days by purchasing a can of Bob Hawk Drought to help raise funds for the tri state games.

Cans will be sold for just $5 a can with 💯 of all sale revenue going to the tri state committee to help with purchasing essential needs for athletes in November.

Anyone who knows of anyone who's a keen motorbike rider down south feel free to tag them in this post.

Dave and his family in Mt Barker SA have worked tirelessly to build a great small business offering free meals to families doing it tough through COVID all the way through.

Now the SA government wants to acquire his Business without warning to build a new school in the area.

With the possibility of losing a small business his family has built up from the ground he's put together a family friendly ride on Sunday the 2nd of August to raise awareness of the unfair treatment of the acquisition of his business and land with no formal warning this putting the future of his business at risk and staring down the barrel of closure.

So if you or anyone you know is a keen motorbike rider or show and shine fanatic be sure to share this with them the tun commences from Parafield Bunnings carpark in Adelaide from 9 am on Sunday the 2 Nd of August.

Anyone noticed the new LED lights in the main bar of the Brim Hotel.

These were recently installed by the team at Midland Electrical millsy and they have certainly added modern character to the old building.

Next time you need any electrical work done to your property we definitely recommend giving Millsy a call at Midland Electrical they are based in Birchip.

Please be advised that due to late unforeseen events the Brim Hotel will be closed this weekend and re opening on the 9 th of July.
