Thankyou to everyone that helped make our Annual Show a huge success, with 505 entries our now slightly smaller Poultry Pavilion was completely full. The weather was perfect and with many members of the public attending, the pavilion was incredibly busy with a great atmosphere

It's show time in the South

270 bantam poultry entries will be exhibited this Saturday 09MAY26 at our Poultry Pavilion within the Brighton Showgrounds (entry via Glen Lea Rd Pontville)

All poultry exhibited at this show are Bantams i.e. they are generally miniature versions of standard breeds, though some are "true bantams" with no large counterpart. There will be another poultry show on 13JUN26 with all sizes and varieties exhibited

Recently we held our end of year General Meeting and Christmas BBQ

We would like to take the opportunity to thank all that attended and to also thank everyone that volunteered their time throughout the year to ensure each of our Club events was a success -, Poultry Shows, Poultry Amnesty and Rehoming Days, Member Training Days and social events. We had a wonderful turnout this morning for our Poultry Amnesty and Rehoming Day At Huon (Ranelagh). Thankyou to Huon Show and Huon Valley Council for your support. Over 350 birds were surrendered and rehomed, including geese, muscovies, ducks, and chickens. Also a huge thankyou to our Club members that attended and assisted on the day.
