Our 🌈 GLISTEN 🏳️‍🌈 Youth Social Groups for young people aged 12 to 18 years who identify as LGBTIQA+ are back on the first Wednesday of each month, starting on March 4th! We're teaming up with headspace Hurstville to offer fun activities, food and games! Come solo and meet others, or bring friends!

GLISTEN will be held in a safe space in Hurstville.

Join us for a FREE evening with Daniel Principe, renowned Youth Advocate & Educator (ABC Compass & Channel 9’s Parental Guidance) as Daniel unpacks tough topics like stereotypes, respect, consent, s*x, mental well-being and relationships; especially in a digital world.

As part of 2Connect Youth & Community's domestic and family violence education project, ReTHINK! Youth Anti-Violence, Daniel's presentation arms parents, caregivers and the community with knowledge and clarity to get to the heart of what matters for young people. Daniel’s talks are grounded in evidence and explore practical ways to equip young people to become more aware of the people and ideas influencing their behaviour and growing identities; skills that can be instilled into young people now and remain with them well into adulthood.

Wow, what a great Well-Being Day at Menai High School last week with the students there in recognition of R U OK? day! 🤩 The students weren’t just participating in the games for prizes but kept coming back to our stall to be challenged by our quiz questions on Mental Health, Respectful Relationships and Alcohol & Other Drugs information! Needless to say we need more challenging questions for next time for this clever bunch of students! 💪😊

Special thanks to Paul, our youth educator and worker at 2Connect Youth & Community for facilitating a fun, informative session, Tori - one of the Student Support Officers from Menai High School for organising this event and Amy from headspace Miranda for being an awesome neighbouring stall. 🎉

We have been boldly championing LGBTIQA+ advocacy and support for over 23 years at 2Connect Youth & Community! And we're proud 💪to support Wear it Purple Day 💜on 29.08.2025 tomorrow! Join us in celebrating diversity and inclusion by wearing purple and spreading the love for brighter futures! Visit www.wearitpurple.org for more info.

For young people 12-18 years who identify as LGBTIQA+, we are also still running the 💜GLISTEN 🏳️‍🌈 Youth Social Group where you can join us for free fun activities, food, games and connect with others.
