A big THANKYOU to all the attendees who joined us for a very informative Drug and Alcohol First Aid training day last week!

Our training session covered facts around AOD use, its harms and also provided practical treatment / support options available, including ways to reduce stigma. Learning more on practical harm minimisation strategies help support safer outcomes in alcohol and other drug related situations for the work we all do.

This training day was delivered by Karla and Millie from Lives Lived Well and hosted by St George Community Drug Action Team and 2Connect Youth & Community (led by Angela, AOD Team Lead, pictured in middle). We look forward to bringing more training like these to the community!
