READY TO ENTER THE PAIN CAVE? //

The infamous ACC Inverted Enduro is returning to Bright - Sun, Sept 20 - and we’re just under 3 weeks away!

If you’ve ever looked at Mystic MTB Park and thought “I wonder how fast I could ride to the top…” this is your chance to find out.

And if you've raced it before, now is your chance to beat your toughest opponent - yourself!

Starting with a mass start at the bottom of Mystic, riders will tackle a designated one-way climbing route all the way to the top. It’s not about descending fast - it’s about who can suffer the best on the way up!

U13 riders will take on a shorter course, finishing around halfway up.

Once you’ve conquered the climb, take in the views, cruise back down on the trail of your choice, then stick around for presentations and the club BBQ.

ALPINE SHIRE LOCALS - LAST CHANCE TO GET YOUR MYSTIC LOCAL'S PASS (FREE FOR JUNIOR ACC MEMBERS)

If you live in the Alpine Shire and you ride at Mystic MTB Park, tomorrow is your LAST CHANCE to grab your heavily discounted Locals' Mountain Pass to access the park this summer.

The pass covers not only park entry but also First Aid, Bike Patrol, trail maintenance and trail building.

Locals' Passes will NOT BE AVAILABLE after tomorrow (August 31) and those without them will be required to purchase the full Elevation Club membership.

Junior riders who are also members of Alpine CC can their pass for FREE by emailing [email protected] for a discount code BEFORE TOMORROW!

Neither the subsidy, nor the pass, will be available after tomorrow. Don't say we didn't warn you!

NEW KIT DAY? // Keen to get your hands on some Alpine CC kit for this summer? The Alpine CC team kit shop is now open - for a limited time!

All Alpine CC kit can be ordered through our Cuore store at the link below.

The store will remain open until September 8 ONLY. After that time, orders will be processed & dispatched, arriving about 6 weeks later (approx. Oct 20).

Kit available:
- Road jerseys for kids & adults - SS, LS, thermal
- MTB jerseys for adults only - SS & LS
- Bibs for kids & adults

Congratulations to ACC's Zac Bradley-Hudson who will represent Australia at this weekend's UCI Downhill World Championships.

Zac, who is in his first year out of juniors, is part of the 12-strong Australian Elite team, after a strong podium finish at this year's Australian National Championships.

Zac has been a regular fixture on the World Cup circuit for the past few years, racing for the Australian-owned Team High Country.

The ACC Junior MTB Program gives young riders aged 4-17 years the opportunity to build skills, confidence and friendships while riding the amazing trails around Bright.
Whether your child is learning to ride singletrack for the first time or already tackling technical trails, our program offers a fun, safe and supportive environment with experienced volunteer ride leaders, coaching and plenty of trail adventures.

FREE MYSTIC MEMBERSHIP FOR ACC JUNIORS!

Thanks to a joint subsidy from Mystic Park and the Alpine Cycling Club, all junior club members (aged 6-17 years) are eligible to claim a FREE Mystic Mountain Pass membership for 2026/27.

🎟️ Value: $72.50 per child

❓HOW TO CLAIM YOUR DISCOUNT
1. Email [email protected] with your child’s name + ACC membership number
2. We’ll send you a discount code
3. Use the code on the Mystic Park website to sign up and get your 100% discount

⏰ IMPORTANT: You MUST purchase your pass before 31 August.

Mountain Passes help fund essential services at Mystic, including Bike Patrol, trail maintenance and new trails. All riders must have one.

🔎 Fine print:
- Your child must be a current financial ACC member
- Kids 5 and under can get free Mountain Passes directly from Mystic Park

TOUR OF BRIGHT - FONDO - ENTRIES NOW OPEN

Entries are now open for the inaugural Ride High Country Bright Fondo, which is an exciting new edition to the Tour of Bright stage road race in December.

The Bright Fondo consist of two rides over two days, Sat Dec 5 and Sun Dec 6, for those who want to be part of the action but are not racing the full tour.

🔸Stage 1 : Tawonga Gap
- Saturday 5th of December
- Start Time: 7am Railway Ave, Bright
- Cut off time: 9:12am
- Average speed required to make cut off: 15km/h
- Distance: 33km (elevation gain 630m)
- Aid station: Tawonga Gap
- Start groups: 15-18km/h, 19-22km/h, 22+km/h
🔸Stage 2 : Mt Buffalo, The Horn
- Sunday 6th of December
- Start Time: 6:30am Railway ave, Bright
- Average speed required to make cut off: 11km/h
- Distance: 84km (elevation gain 1,830m)
- Aid station: Mackey’s lookout, Cathedral/ Hump
- Start groups: 15-18km/h, 19-22km/h, 22+km/h

Get ready for the pain cave!

The ACC Inverted Enduro is back - Sunday, September 20, 2026 - and registrations are now open.

Our infamous uphill enduro sees racers testing themselves in a one-way ascent from the bottom of Mystic MTB Park to the very top.

From a mass start, riders will follow a designated climbing route to the top of Mystic where glory awaits. U13 riders will ride about halfway, with a mid-way finishing point.

Once you’ve conquered the ascent and taken in the view, enjoy an un-timed descent back to the bottom, taking a route of your choice, where presentations and a club BBQ await.

Stallholder registrations are NOW OPEN but spaces are LIMITED!
