📣 COACHING ASSESSMENTS – FOUNDATION, PRELIMINARY & LEVEL 1

Are you ready to take the next step in your Pony Club coaching journey?

The Pony Club WA State Coaching Panel is offering coaches the opportunity to be assessed for their PCA NCAS Foundation, Preliminary or Level 1 Coaching Certificate.

📅 Assessment Date: Saturday 14 November 2026
📍 Venue: Wallangarra H & PC

Important dates:
👉 24 October – Applications close
👉 31 October – Lesson plans due

Coaches wishing to be assessed need to complete the PCA NCAS Application for Assessment and Accreditation, include their registration details and forward the completed application to the PCWA Coaching email.

🐴 Demonstration Riders: Coaches will need to source suitable demonstration riders for the level being assessed – normally at least three riders. Depending on registrations, there may be an opportunity to share riders.

💰 Cost: TBC depending on numbers, but expected to be approximately $150–$200 per coach.

November may seem a little way off, but there is plenty to prepare. Coaches need time to complete their paperwork and lesson plans, organise demonstration riders and discuss their plans with their assessors.

⭐ If you’re working towards your next coaching accreditation, now is the time to get your application underway!

There is some valuable information here from our sponsors about Laminitis. This season has been particularly challenging with the weather affecting pastures. A good read for members. Thompson and Redwood

With varying weather impacting our paddocks, it is important to keep an eye out on our more voluptous hairy friends at this time of the year. There is some great information here provided by Thompson and Redwood, one of our major sponsors.

A huge thank you to Thompson & Redwood, one of the major sponsors of the Pony Club WA Festival 2026! 💛🐴

Thompson & Redwood have been long-time supporters of the equestrian community, and we are incredibly grateful to have their support behind this year’s Festival.

Their quality range of horse feeds will be familiar to many of our Pony Club families across WA, helping keep our ponies and horses looking and performing at their best.

Sponsorship like this plays an important part in helping Pony Club WA deliver fantastic events and opportunities for our members, and we encourage our Pony Club community to support the businesses that support us.

Thank you Thompson & Redwood for getting behind the Pony Club WA Festival! 👏💛
