🏇 GREAT SOUTHERN ZONE SHOW JUMP OFFICIALS WORKSHOP

Want to learn more about Show Jump judging, course design and the rules behind the sport — or take the next step towards becoming an accredited official?

Join Fred Freeman and Judy Rose for the Great Southern Zone Judging & Course Design Workshop on 12 & 13 September 2026 at West Plantagenet Pony Club.

This workshop is suitable for anyone wanting to:

⭐ Begin their Judge or Course Designer accreditation pathway
⭐ Maintain their current accreditation
⭐ Build their knowledge of Show Jump rules and judging
⭐ Learn the principles of course design and course building
⭐ Better understand what officials are looking for in the arena

Saturday will cover officials’ roles, accreditation pathways, jumping rules, types of classes, safety, judging and the principles of course design.

Sunday gets practical, with judging, scoresheets, drawing and building courses, course inspection, demo riders and accreditation assessment opportunities.

💰 $30 for one day | $50 for both days
☕ Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided

We are excited to announce that the Active Riding State Championships 2026 will be held on the 10 & 11 October 2026 at Murray Horse & Pony Club.

Get ready for an exciting weekend of skill, teamwork and friendly competition at the Active Riding State Championships! Riders from across Western Australia will come together to represent their clubs, challenge themselves, support their teammates and celebrate their achievements. It's a chance to make new friends, create lasting memories and enjoy the spirit of Active Riding.

The Pony Club WA Festival is low key and designed to give riders confidence to have a go at multiple events in one day. It is the event that riders often look back on fondly and marks the start of their competition career. Will we see you there? Entries are now open.
