WA Conservation of Raptors

WA Conservation of Raptors Volunteer wildlife carers for sick njured and orphanbirds of prey. We rehabilitate rescued birds of prey and release those that are able, back into nature.

WA Conservation of Raptors are Stuart and Amanda Payne. We are handed in birds of prey from the public, veterinary specialists and the DEC that have been injured, from all over WA, from Broome to Albany and everywhere in between. The majority of the injuries that the birds receive are car strikes, poisoning, shooting and starvation from habitat loss. We are required by the DEC to have a current li

cence to care for the birds that are handed in. We are entirely self funded and both maintain full time jobs in non-raptor related occupations, in order to be able to provide the best care we can to these beautiful birds.

Hi everyone. I’m really hoping you can help us with donations please. Our latest mouse bill is $1800. It’s becoming so expensive to look after our birds now with no help from Government departments. We would be very grateful if you would consider donating please. Thank you so much. 😊

Hi all we had this beautiful square tailed kite handed in this morning. The chap who called him in said he was definitely a juvenile wedge tailed eagle because he knew his birds. Mmm hmm. Oh well at least he called him in and did the right thing 😊. He’s very thin and has possibly been grounded for a few days as his feathers are a bit ratty. Anyway as usual please send lots of healing vibes for this boy he needs them. Thanks 🥰.
