Time to relax in Darwin ☀️🍺

The most gruelling sh*tbox rally ever with about 30 cars cracking the sh*ts with the water, dust, corrugations, heat, late nights no sleep or morning coffee. The cars have been left somewhere in the great outdoors. (including our Neil the Seal mascot who stayed with the car) Thanks Andrew for doing that, Neil got lots of attention for the week he was on the roof.

Our raffle was a great success, prizes were donated from Bridport, Flinders Island, Queenstown, Strahan and Launceston. Thanks to everyone who donated prizes, bought and sold tickets. Too many to name we and dont want to miss anyone ❤️

Thru 2025 and 2026 we have raised and donated over $40,000
To Cancer Council 👏👏. Great effort for Bridport and Tasmania.

I would like to think that Cancer can be better understood thru research, genetics, and targeted therapies in the future with the millions of dollars raised thru Sh*tbox Rally every year.

With 2 Rallies started in 2 different cars and finishing without a car this time its time for a rethink 🤔

Will it be 3rd time lucky to attempt another rally,

Our biggest day in Sh*tbox history!!

🗺️ Day 5 - Alice Springs, NT to Daly Waters, NT

After over 1,000ks of corrugations, vibrations and a whole lot of red dirt, the teams are treated to a day (albeit a big day) on the tarmac! But just because there’s no unsealed roads today, does not make it an easy drive. It’ll take the teams all day (and potentially into the night) to get into Daly Waters, where a hearty meal and no doubt one or two cold ones will be consumed.

Dave and Rob have made it to Alice Springs they hitched a ride in other cars 😪 sad that blue meanie was thirsty and sucked in the water whilst trying to cross the flooded road.

They have had a great outback experience and seem some amazing places.

Thanks to family in Alice Springs who have come to the rescue tonight.

🗺️ Day 4 - Mount Dare, SA to Alice Springs, NT

Another day, another outback dirt track to eat up! The teams are headed into Alice Springs, where they’ll get their first taste of sealed roads in over 1,000ks (the last sealed road was back in Marree!!). They’ll drive through Old Andado Station, a historic 20th century cattle station which now serves as a timecapsule into the harsh realities of cattle station life in the 1920s. Today is a glorious day for outback Australia, as 250 sh*tboxes will descend into the heart of the Simpson Desert, dressed up as Barbie and Ken!

Today is our second dress up day, this time BARBIE! 🩷

Tough day yesterday, little reception, got towed into town last night and yet to hear if they’re back up and rallying 😬 send them some good vibes 😎

🗺️ Day 3 - William Creek to Mount Dare

You read that right - it’s all unsealed today! Teams will continue along the Oodnadatta track and are likely to shred a few tyres along the way (thanks in advance, Air Support). Shortly after passing through Oodnadatta, home of the Pink Roadhouse, our Sh*tbox convoy will turn onto Mt Dare road. At this point, the teams are well into the Outback with the next significant town being Alice Springs! We’ll end up at Mount Dare Hotel - a place we’ve never rallied to before - situated just 10km from the SA/NT border, for a well deserved drink and a rest.
