Clear your calendar and get ready to salute summer 2026 - Saturday 21st February at 2.00 pm onwards !!!

Gig on the Ground will be held at the Bridport Football Club oval with an awesome line up of local bands, food vans and alcohol - Lions Club of Bridport selling hamburgers, sausages, toasted sandwiches, soft drink - come along and support this fantastuc local event!!

What an outstanding day we all had. Lions Club Members provided delicious hamburgers and sausages for all. We also had Olivia - Bloom Coffee Van, Spoke Motor Bike Festival Group, Tracey & Sam Face Painting, NE Line Dancers and Chris Dart Model Cars.

The Loft Motor Bike Museum was open for organized tours, huge thanks to Matthew & Shannon Bayles and Mike Commane for managing the tours.

Lions Club of Bridport also wishes to thank Unique Car Detailing, Becks Mitre 10, Scottsdale; IJ Motors, Bridport; Nutrien AG, Scottsdale; Shiploads, Launceston; Spoke Motor Bike Festival Swansea and Suzuki, Scottsdale for their generous support of our Show and Shine Car/Bike Event Raffle.

SHOW AND SHINE CAR/BIKE EVENT – 11TH JANUARY 2026

Lions Club of Bridport held their annual Show and Shine Car/Bike Event on Sunday 11th January on the Bridport Village Green. We were fortunate to have perfect weather and were rewarded with record car and motorcycle entries and spectators.

Our 2 major sponsors were FC Management (Matthew and Shannon Bayles) who donated $500.00 first prize for People’s Choice Car and $500.00 first prize for People’s Choice Motor Bike. The winners were:

• Phil Jamieson - 1948 Morris Commercial LC 3
• Geoff Anderson - 1934 BSA G34-14 Side Valve V-Twin

Our second major sponsor was Shannon’s Insurance who provided trophies and show bags for Shannon’s Choice – winners were:

• Gary Izard – EH Holden
• Peter Bender – Vincent Motor Bike

A very successful Carols was held at Bridport this afternoon. Not to be deterred by the unpredictable weather we relocated to the community hall and all enjoyed a festive sing along with outstanding entertainment. Thank you to all involved!
