Breaking the Silence Advocacy Group A group working to end family violence through community led prevention strategies in Tasmania. Updat Formed in 2013.

Made up of members in the south of Tasmania centred around the Brighton area. Community leading change through evidence based prevention strategies.

- We acknowledge statistics of family violence but accept that both men and women are perpetrators of violence.

- Family violence can be committed in many forms.

- We believe in gender equality.
- We are against gender bashing.
- We believe in rehabilitation.
- Evidence based.
