The ultimate Jingle Bell Rockstars and longest serving veterans. What started years ago as a few fairy lights on a 4-metre tinny has evolved into an eye-popping, mist-filled Christmas Kraken 🐙🎄glowing tentacles, bursting colour, and proof that size definitely isn’t everything. Absolute legends.

Kev Adams with Parade Santa Ed Dean – Salty Kisses
Certified Jingle Bell Rockstars and parade regulars. Santa’s sleigh on water 🎅✨ hauled by seven reindeer in a kaleidoscope of colour, complete with a caboose of gifts trailing behind. Pure Christmas magic.

Kelvin Deasy – Lady in Red
A full-noise Jingle Bell Rockstar display. Drenched in vivid, neon-style Christmas lights, casting stunning reflections right across Pacific Harbour, with Santa glowing proudly from the stern ❤️🎄

The quality of entries from the 2025 Bribie Island Christmas Lights Boat Parade was outstanding.

🏆 Our Photo & Video Competition Winner is Kerry.
The photos you see here are the winning images. They captured the colour, movement and community vibe of the night, from dazzling boats and decorated canal-side homes to families and friends enjoying the parade and those magical reflections on the water.

A little about our winner 👇
Semi-retired and recently moved to Morayfield from Mount Isa, Kerry wasn’t sure what to expect on the night, so she threw the camera in the car just in case. We’re very glad she did.

🎁 The prize, proudly provided by Brisbane Cruises is a Brisbane to Gold Coast Cruise for two adults, including morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and return transport to Hamilton. A big thank you to for supporting Bribie’s favourite festive tradition.

First up — a massive CONGRATULATIONS to every single Jingle Bell Rockstar who took part this year 👏
The time, effort, creativity, expense and travel that goes into decorating, launching and parading is enormous — and it showed.
⭐ The quality across the entire flotilla was the best we’ve ever seen ⭐

🏆 CHAMPIONS
The Grant Family – Don’t Panic
A humble 4-metre tinny transformed into a glowing, misty Christmas Kraken 🐙🎄with tentacles dangling, colours popping, and crowds loving every second.
A brilliant nautical-Christmas mash-up from the longest-serving veterans of the parade, proudly part of this tradition since day one, 15 years ago. So well deserved!

The Marine Rescue Bribie Island 445 crews are on their way for one of our most loved traditions — the Santa Lolly Drop 🎄✨

And yes… Schmackos for the dogs 🐶🦴 — a crowd favourite we’ve been doing for years (and still wildly popular 😉).

Huge thanks to Ariana Doolan MP, proud Bronze Sponsor, who also funded the entire lolly drop and suited up in her PFD to jump onboard with Santa and the Marine Rescue crew to spread Christmas cheer around the canals 🚤🎅
