The Doo Stop Op Shop has been opened to generate much needed income to fund the work of the Hunter Domestic Violence Support & Advisory Service and the women & children's refuge 'Jodie's Place'

Do you have a few hours or days to spare? Would you like to volunteer in an Op Shop and thereby help domestic violence victims? The Doo Stop Op Shop, Branxton, is desperate for more volunteers right now, especially Monday, Thursday and Friday. If this sounds like you, please call 0408 989 809.

All proceeds from the Doo Stop Op Shop fund Jodie's Place and the Hunter Domestic Violence Support & Advisory Service (HDVSAS). HDVSAS provides support for any victim of domestic abuse, regardless of gender, race or religion ... provided it is within our capacity to do so. We are all volunteers. There is no government funding. We rely totally on the good will of our fabulous community and amazing sponsors and donors. Thank you all very much!

Volunteers at the Doo Stop Op Shop and Jodie’s Place are so grateful to all the wonderful people who donate goods in support of our domestic violence service. We are overflowing from your generosity at present. 🙂 Unfortunately, we are currently short of volunteers to sort through it all, so it will take a bit of time to clear our back room. Please be advised that the Doo Stop Op Shop in Branxton (75 Maitland St) will temporarily vary opening hours to week days Mon-Fri, 10am-3pm only. No Saturday opening hours at this time, sorry. This is due to our current shortage of volunteers. We'll be back to our usual hours as soon as we have new teams sorted. Thank you for your patience and your support. 🙂🌻🌻

Thank you so much to and their community who came together for a Women's Health event earlier this month.

Together they raised over $800!

We are grateful to some of our long-time supporters, Megan and Amber, who spoke about the work of our team of volunteers and the impact they have through the Hunter Domestic Violence Support and Advisory Service, Jodie's Place and the Doo Stop Op Shop.
