Unfortunately, as we flagged last week, the Showgrounds are unavailable both this weekend (2nd May) and the following weekend (9th May). But we’re expecting to be on for 16th May, so hang tight, another great social walk/jog/run is just around the corner!

parkrun Cancelled Saturday 25th April

The Showgrounds are unavailable this weekend and so parkrun is cancelled. Unfortunately, events are also scheduled for 2nd & 9th May, so this will probably be a prolonged bit of downtime - though we will update here if we are able to go ahead afterall.

We look forward to welcoming you all back to the Showgrounds sometime soon!

parkrun is on tomorrow 🎉

We’ve got several cancellations coming up as a number of horse events are using the Showgrounds across May, so let’s make the most of the mornings we have available.

Come down to the Showgrounds tomorrow morning, 7:45am for the pre-event brief ahead of an 8am start and experience the best that Braidwood Autumn has to offer - a cool start giving way to warm sunshine ☀️

And keep your eyes peeled on this page or the event website for the upcoming cancellations as we get final confirmation.

Hi Lovely People. Unfortunately we have to cancel Braidwood Showground parkrun this Saturday 4th April as we have just found out there is a horse event being held. The showground will be unsafe to use with the constant flow of horses, cars, and horse floats. The horse event was to be held elsewhere, but due to weather conditions, has been moved to Braidwood. I'm so sorry to all of you who planned on joining us for this Easter event. We hope you can make it another weekend, but keep an eye on the website as there's a few weekends in May where we cannot hold parkrun due to other happenings at the showground.
From our little parkrun to all of you, we wish you a wonderful & safe Easter with a never ending supply of chocolate (my ultimate dream!). Kelly & Team.###

parkrun is BACK tomorrrow!

We hope you all enjoyed the Braidwood Show last weekend - it was a wonderful event showcasing the breadth and depth of talents in our community. But now we can welcome you all back to the Showgrounds for parkrun tomorrow morning!!

There may even be an autumnal chill in the air - great conditions for a walk, jog or run! Be there 7:45am for the pre-run brief ahead of an 8am start.

🚨parkrun Cancelled 7th March 2026🚨

Hello everyone! This weekend is the Braidwood Show, so of course parkrun will not be happening. The Braidwood Show is one of the biggest community events of the year for Braidwood, so we strongly recommend getting along to the Showgrounds anyway and enjoying all the wonders it has to offer!

See you back at the Showgrounds for a walk/jog/run on 14th March!
