🌱 Keep Able is a free Australian resource hub funded by the Australian Government. It offers helpful resources for older Australians, carers, and aged care workers, including:

The goal is to help people focus on what they can do, supporting independence, confidence, and wellbeing.

你願意用一小部分時間，為長者帶來一整年的溫暖嗎？
🗓 2026年，關愛會將在 墨爾本｜悉尼｜阿德萊德 三地同步招募義工，邀請你加入「耆義探訪隊 (We-Visit)」，一起走進社區，陪伴長者，傳遞關懷。
✅ 我們正在找這樣的你：
>年滿18歲，有愛心、有耐性

>喜歡與長者相處，無需經驗

>能出席 8週免費培訓課程（每週一堂）

>能操廣東話 / 普通話

>願意承諾服務 至少12個月

Loneliness and social isolation can quietly affect an older person’s mental health, confidence, and overall wellbeing — and for many seniors, the feeling of being forgotten can be one of the hardest parts of ageing.
That’s why programs like the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) are so important. 🤝
Through regular visits, conversations, walks, shared hobbies, and meaningful companionship, volunteers help older Australians feel connected, valued, and less alone. Sometimes, a simple chat can make a life-changing difference. 🌿

對許多長者來說，不斷上升的醫療費用，往往令人開始延遲看醫生、忽略身體不適，甚至因擔心開支而選擇留在家中 💔
但現在，情況或許正在改變。
全澳已有超過3,700間診所加入政府的 Bulk Billing Practice Incentive Program（全額報銷獎勵計劃），讓更多符合Medicare資格的澳洲居民，有機會以更低甚至零自付費用看GP 🩺✨

🚨 More Older Australians May Soon See a GP Without Paying Upfront 👀🇦🇺

For many seniors, rising healthcare costs can quietly become another reason to stay home, delay appointments, or ignore ongoing health concerns 💔
But things may finally be changing.
More than 3,700 medical practices across Australia are now participating in the Bulk Billing Practice Incentive Program, helping more Medicare-eligible Australians access GP care with little or no out-of-pocket cost 🩺✨
As more affordable healthcare options become available, older Australians may find it easier to stay on top of their health, remain independent, and continue participating in the communities and activities they love ❤️
At Australian Seniors Connected Care, we know healthy ageing is not just about medical care — it’s also about staying connected, supported, and confident that help is within reach when needed.

From 18–24 May 2026, Australia celebrates National Volunteer Week — a special time to recognise the kindness, compassion, and generosity of volunteers across the country ❤️
At Australian Seniors Connected Care, we are deeply grateful to every volunteer who gives their time to support older Australians, especially those experiencing loneliness or social isolation.
