Meet Nicolette 👋

If you’ve visited our Bowral branch, you may have met Nicolette, one of our Customer Service Officers.

The customers are her favourite part of the job, along with the chance to give back to the community. One moment that’s stayed with her was volunteering at the local hospital, delivering toys to children in the paediatric and emergency wards when they were feeling unwell.

THANK YOU THURSDAY ⭐

Kristy and Amy from Community Bank BDCU Goulburn recently had the pleasure of visiting Gil and Sara at Sydney Vintage Car Restorations.

For more than 45 years, this family owned business has been restoring vintage vehicles from the ground up. Everything is completed in-house, from spray painting and bodywork to panel fabrication and mechanical repairs with more than 20 projects often underway at once.

Gil showed Kristy and Amy around the workshop and shared some of the stories behind the vehicles being brought back to life. His passion for restoration was clear to see!

As a long standing local business, Gil and Sara value banking with a local team that understands the community and is always easy to work with.

A big thank you to Gil, Sara and the family for welcoming us into the workshop and showing us the incredible work you do.

Celebrating connection, conversation and planning for the future.

Last Friday, Amy and the team had the pleasure of attending the Dementia Gala Day, meeting so many wonderful people and sharing information about the importance of planning and preparing for our later years.

It was a great opportunity to have conversations, answer questions and help people understand some of the steps they can take now to feel more prepared for the future.

A big thank you to Dementia Friendly Goulburn for bringing everyone together and creating such a valuable event. It’s wonderful to see the reach of this important work continuing to grow and more people recognising the importance of creating a community where people living with dementia, their families and carers feel supported and included.

Events like this show the difference that connection, information and a dementia-friendly community can make.
