Another beautiful morning of cook and connect 🫶 This week, 138 meals are heading out into our community!

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers this National Volunteer Week — we appreciate you every week, and truly couldn’t do it without you!

Over 100 meals made today at Cook & Connect 💛

Despite being between the holidays and the long weekend, our amazing team of volunteers came together to turn rescued food into nourishing meals for our community.

A huge thank you to C3 Cares (also known as “The Hub”) for supplying food and helping us distribute meals to services and individuals across the Southern Highlands.

And a special shout out to where we got 10kg of beef mince through a voucher to C3 Cares - your support makes a difference!

A big shout out to our amazing school holiday volunteers!

Many of our volunteers are from completing their Duke of Ed hours, while others simply love helping out — and we are so grateful for each and every one of them!

Their support makes such a difference behind the scenes, helping our classes run smoothly, and the kids absolutely love having fun, energetic teens to work with. They bring such a great vibe to the program! 🫶

This week we’ve got Honey Soy Turkey Stir Fry with rice, Curry Chicken with Veg and rice, Tomato Baked Chicken with mash, Potato Garlic & Herb Pizzas, and Apple & Rhubarb Crumble heading out into the community.
