RARsh is a diverse group of concerned people who live in the Southern Highlands and meet regularly to advocate and seek justice for refugees and work with people from refugee backgrounds who live locally and further afield. As many of you will know, RAR began in the Southern Highlands in 2001, when its Co-Founders (Anne Coombs, Helen McCue and Susan Varga) organised a public meeting in the Bowral
Memorial Hall. Currently, there are now close to 100 groups in the RAR Network throughout Australia, who work independently and also together as a network, as well as with other refugee support groups, to assist and advocate on behalf of Refugees and Asylum Seekers.
