Bowning Guides helped out at the Bowning Community Hall 100 years celebration. We helped by taking orders for Devonshire teas.
Every Monday we meet at Bowning Hall for our meeting, it's such a lovely space.

Bowning Girl Guides spent a night learning about camping, leadership and teamwork. Two of the older girls led them in setting up a tent, then they built a mock campfire to learn about campfire safety and etiquette, and then shared camp songs together. We welcomed back the wonderful Echidna from Pennant Hills Guides. Thank you Echidna for sharing your guiding traditions and songs with us! We are excited to stay in touch with you and your unit.

At the beginning of National Volunteer Week we’d like to give a shout out and HUGE thank you to our amazing volunteer Guide Leaders Belle and Celeste. Your considerable volunteer efforts are much appreciated by all.

National Volunteer Week is here, and we’re celebrating the incredible volunteers who make Girl Guides possible. 💙

Every week, across NSW, ACT & NT, our volunteers show up with kindness, creativity, encouragement, and heart — helping girls and young women build confidence, make lifelong friendships, and discover what they’re capable of.

This year’s theme, “Your Year to Volunteer”, is a reminder that one decision to get involved can make a lifelong difference for a girl finding her place in the world.

To every Girl Guides volunteer: thank you for the time, care, and passion you give so generously. This week is all about celebrating you and the impact you make every single day.

URGENTLY LOOKING FOR 8+ YEAR OLDS FOR FREE ARCHERY TOMORROW!!

Calling all girl guides. We have a free archery session for any girls 8+ at our region campsite, Tambreet Street, Majura.

Sessions run from 9:00am and another at 10:30am.

You would also be helping our wonderful volunteer leaders from all over NSW gain their Archery Qualifications.

Please contact Chris Butler on 0411 130 677 directly if your girl guide would like to attend.
