Did you know the Bowen Lions would love more wonderful volunteers to join them? The more people we have as volunteers, the more the community benefits. You see, it all comes down to ideas and the drive to turn those ideas into reality. We senior Lions are few, and we would love to see many new faces in the Lions. Do not worry, as we are not slave drivers, and therefore we will not demand too much of your time. It's totally up to you how much time you can give to help when you can, So the more we get interested, the easier and more fun it becomes, who knows where it might take you.

We will be at Bowen Home Hardware this Saturday, flipping a sausage or two, If that's not for you, then the Lion Ladies have been baking up a storm with a range of delectable delights to choose from.

Bowen Lions will have a stall at the Bowen Locals for Locals tonight at the PCYC.

Drop by for a chat grab a Christmas cake or a tray of other baked goods our Lions Ladies have baked for the stall.

Great movie, great food, great raffle, so why not ask some great friends or family to join you at the movie night knowing that you are helping some great kids get to Sydney to compete in the "Tournament of minds" they won the State Competition now they are competing in the International competition against all states and territories Australia and 8 other countries (how great is that)

What happens is they (7 students) are put in a room, given a problem 3 hours to solve it, using only their brains, ability, problem solving skills and team work NO SCREENS!
