A little snapshot of one of the goals from Sunday's Senior game. Great to see some of the Juniors on the run with the Seniors!

This Saturday our Junior team packed up their sticks and headed to Mackay for the first away game of the season.

With the majority of the team having just joined and an early season game, they pulled together incredibly!

It was a closely fought match with our goalie James booting goal attempts left, right and centre. They worked as a team, spread across the field and came close to a goal SO MANY TIMES!

In the end Mackay came out on top with the final score sitting at 1-0.

Seeing the improvement from the beginning of the game to the end of the game makes us so excited to see this team play in our next away game with a bit more experience under their belt!!

REMINDER: When do we train? When do we play games?

We train every Thursday from 3pm and play games each Sunday at the following times:

1pm - players who just started this year
2pm - juniors (returning children)
3pm - seniors

Don't forget to bring your shin guards!

Each time you hit the field we're preparing for upcoming away games and our Bowen Hockey Carnival days.

Our first away game is in Mackay this Saturday!

UPDATED GAME TIME - this Saturday in MACKAY

Our game now begins at 10am. Players please arrive at 9.30am.
We will be flaying on Field 3 at Mackay Hockey Association (2 Harney St, South Mackay).
Best option for parking either on Bridge Rd or the grass area. Access from behind clubhouse.

DON'T FORGET SHIN PADS AND A MOUTH GUARD.
