📣 Public announcement from the Boonooroo Progress Association President.

🙏 Thank you to everyone who has placed ideas into the suggestion box in the hall!

📝 The ideas have ranged from b***y bands to table tennis and almost everything in between!

💸 Please know the committee hears you and we are committed to considering all requests!

🫶Please remember we are a small association, financially funded by activities, events and the occasional grant! We must consider all spending and make all decisions with regard to purchases carefully!

🌹We would love to purchase and provide the community with all of the items and ideas placed in the suggestion box. However this is not possible.

🤞Please be patient and we hope you will notice the small achievements made along the way!

🙌Keep the suggestions coming! We appreciate each and every idea from our community members and promise to continue to build on the already great community space that the Boonooroo Progress Association has developed to date!!

💰Two of the requested items approved and purchased for use in the exercise classes.

👏 What a terrific workshop

Thank you to Helen from Our Community Resilience Network for coordinating with Clarice from Fraser Coast Regional Council for presenting the LifeFlight First Minutes Matter Workshop in our beautiful hall today!

📚Education presenter Meg from LifeFlight delivered a clear, easy to understand workshop highlighting the benefit of applying basic medical support in the first 5 minutes to assist patients before emergency services appear on scene.

Snake bite & marine stingers
Stroke
CPR & AED
Burns
Choking
Bleeding
Anaphylaxis
Seizure
Febrile convulsions
