Four years ago the Auxiliary started fundraising for a refurb in the then, one Palliative Care room at the Boonah Hospital. Jenny Jenner came on board and generously donated a Cuddle Bed from funds raised at the Sunflower Festival. This meant that we not only had one but now two Palliative Care rooms that needed refurbishment. The painters have been on site and the patching and painting of the room has begun. There is still plenty of work to be done to get these rooms completed, however, we are delighted to be able to say that the works have started. This would not have happened without the generous donations from the Boonah Community and Businesses that have so generously donated Goods and Services, purchased raffle tickets and made donations, thank you. A huge thank you to all those have been part of the Auxiliary over the years to get us to this point.
