For years, the KickstArt exhibition has been a highlight for Boonah State High School, giving young artists the chance to see their work on gallery walls.

After KickstArt took a break in 2025, BASI and school staff saw an opportunity to bring it back even bigger and better.

In 2026, KickstArt is evolving into a community-wide celebration! We are inviting every school-aged child in Boonah and the surrounding areas - whether they attend the high school, local primary schools, schools outside the area, or are home-schooled - to take part. This relaunch is all about inclusion and making sure every young person has a voice in our local arts scene.

Our dedicated team of BASI members and student volunteers are already hard at work to make this a reality. We can’t wait to see your creativity on display!

To make things even more exciting, there are cash prizes up for grabs in these categories.
