The Parents and Citizens Association is a voluntary, not-for-profit organisation directly affiliated with the school. The P&C is made up of adults from the local community, in particular the parents and carers of students at the school. The P&C works in partnership with the school principal and the community to promote the interests of the school and facilitate its development and further improvem
ent. The P&C provides feedback and advice on school policies and activities, assists in providing resources to enhance student outcomes and are involved in a variety of school activities including fundraising and school functions. The P&C's main aim is to achieve the best possible outcomes for students. The P&C Association generates income through fundraising and grants, and through running Tuckshop and Uniform shop services. All money raised by the P&C goes straight back into improving the school, e.g. supporting the school Chaplaincy program, facility improvements such as air-conditioning, and providing donations for academic, sporting or extracurricular programs. The difference the P&C can make in the school depends entirely upon our volunteers. So, how can you get involved? The P&C holds monthly general meetings where important issues are put forward, discussed, and voted upon. New members are always welcome. If you would like to become a P&C member, or simply lend a hand every now and then, please let us know.
