Ron Spencer reports a dual pick-up from Lions Institute delivering to Subiaco Eye Hospital and Royal Perth.

A little early for the pick-up so a coffee and sausage roll was enjoyed at Coffee Biz in the LEI foyer.

Two drop offs so, as the bike would be unattended, the transport box is padlocked.

Beautiful day in sunny Perth - makes a difference from my previous Monday runs! Last time I got as wet as my last bath!

We have volunteers from all walks of life and with a huge variety of skills.

Today Heather Jones our car based volunteer out of Ipswich has been selected for the 26/27 Auroras Paradragon Training Squad, which is part of the National Team heading towards the World IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championships to be held in Hong Kong, Oct 27..
In the meantime, Heather has lots of Training & Training Camps in major Cities around Australia to train together & get to know our fellow Teammates.. She still need to train hard to keep her 'seat' on the boat or she can lose it to another athlete who has improved further than me, so it's going to keep everyone on their
