𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹… 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻’ 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘆𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗺@𝗗𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲!
After the fog lifted, Bonnie Doon turned on the most beautiful day—blue skies, warm sunshine and exactly the kind of weather the plants needed to truly shine. ☀️🌱
It was quite a contrast to our inaugural Bloom@Doon in 2025, when we woke to the aftermath of heavy overnight rain and faced a cold and windy day. This year, the sunshine arrived—and so did all of you!
From my potting bench, I had the very important job of keeping a watchful eye over proceedings. What I saw was a community coming together, visitors enjoying everything on offer and an enormous amount of hard work blossoming into something very special.

Thank you to the 30 wonderful stallholders across 46 sites who joined us, spread out across the grounds beneath the watchful eye of Billy’s House.
Thank you for embracing the spirit of Bloom@Doon, creating such welcoming displays and bringing a fantastic variety of plants, products, food and garden inspiration for everyone to enjoy. You helped bring our grounds to life!

A huge thank you to Bob from the Delatite Cricket Club for driving our free Bloomin’ Bus shuttle between Mansfield and Bonnie Doon throughout the day.
The shuttle helped make Bloom@Doon accessible to more people and ensured that those without transport—or those who simply preferred to leave the car behind—could still join us.

Bloom@Doon isn’t simply a market. It is an event that brings a community together.
Bonnie Doon may not be big in population, but it has a mighty heart and a strong, proud community—and my incredible Bloom Crew showed that in every possible way yesterday.
From welcoming visitors at the gates and directing traffic, to selling raffle tickets, assisting our presenters, supporting our stallholders, helping our Future Bloomers, answering questions and stepping in wherever something needed to be done—you were absolutely bloomin’ wonderful!
Events like this do not happen without volunteers giving their time, energy and enthusiasm. Every shift filled, every question answered, every chair moved and every helping hand made a difference.
A very special thank you to Serenity Coffee , who fed and watered our hard-working Bloom Crew by generously providing lunch for our volunteers for the second year running. Keeping a Bloom Crew blooming is no small task, and your continued support means so much to us! ☕🥪
