Community Care Peninsula Community Care Peninsula is a non for profit charity run by volunteers. Our aim is to support and encourage those facing food insecurity and social isolation.

How things work and what to expect. We run on a number based system when you arrive you will receive a number and be asked to fill in a form the first time.( please note this information is confidential if there are ID issue we will work with you)

You can then have a cuppa and chat with other while you wait. We have volunteers who are happy to chat with you or connect you with others while waitin

g, if you would like. What you will receive: Fortnightly: we offer pantry staples and toiletries
Weekly: fresh fruit/vegetables and bread are available

Here at Community Care you get to choose the food within our range that you would like to eat. We do this for two reason first we believe just because your in need doesn't mean you should have to eat things you dont like or are unable to eat. Second it is a waste of resources if food is given out only to end up in the rubbish. We also offer a referral service to other services within our community. Often when a crisis hits its hard to know where to get help and what is available. Our Volunteers can provide you with resources and information.
