A Diversion on the rail trail has been implimented on the west side of the Kiewa Valley Highway, between Anderson Rd and the Kiewa Valley Highway

Diversuioin notices are in place for cyclists, runners and walkers.

The duration of the closure is unknown at this time.

The Bonegilla Rail Trail Advisory Group will be holding their Annual General meeting on Monday 1st September. Anyone interested in the development of the trail is welcome to attend. The meeting will be held in the Bonegilla Community Hall, Murray Valley Highway, Bonegilla. Starting time 7.30pm.

The rail trail track between Whytes Road and the Kiewa River has been given a makeover thank you to Wodonga Council. The surface has been graded and all types of bikes could ride on this section now. Go try it out !

On Thursday 20th February Parklands Albury Wodonga together with Rail Trail Volunteers installed the Rustic table and bench that Max (Rail Trail Volunteer) built, in a location near the old Cudgewa Railway Station.

The top is a slab cut from that large tree that fell over the rail trail near Finn's creek.
The two end bits were donated to the TAG group by someone in Mitta Mitta, and the beams where people sit on were surplus from building the trestle bridges.

The storm that passed through Baranduda and Ebden area on Monday (10 February) created a number of downed branches and trees over the Rail Trail.

This was all cleaned up by volunteers just in time for the Lake Hume Bike Challenge to be run on Sunday 16 February.
