🧡 WOW Day | Wear Orange Wednesday 🧡

Today wear orange in recognition of our incredible SES volunteers and the vital role they play in supporting our communities.

From storms, floods and road crash rescue, to search operations and emergency support, our SES volunteers are there when people need help the most — often in challenging and unpredictable conditions.

To all of our SES volunteers — thank you for the work you do, the time you give, and the difference you make in our communities every day.

Well... that definitely wasn’t on our 2025/2026 Bingo card! 😅
Things got a little "hairy-scary" for a moment there, but it turns out when Gondor calls for aid (Boddington), Rohan (basically the rest of Australia) answers! (Lord Of The Rings reference😆)
A massive, heartfelt thank you to the absolute legends from Boddington, Crossman, Marradong, Quindanning, Wandering, Newmont & South 32 ERT, Narrogin, Williams, Wagin, Arthur River, Perth Metro teams, South Australia CFS, DFES, and the 20+ other country brigades who all showed up for us.
It was a massive effort to keep our town safe, with most of the team running on 24-hour shifts and about 3 hours of sleep🚒❤️
On behalf of the Boddington team, we want to say a HUGE thank you to our members and every visiting brigade member who stepped up.

We also want to give a special shout-out to our incredible Boddington community! To everyone who made meals, put together snack packs, and donated water to keep our firefighters going—we couldn't have done it without your support.
We are so proud of this community.

To help everyone stay safe and informed, please make sure to download the Emergency WA app (available on the App Store and Google Play).
It’s the best way to get real-time alerts and stay up to date on any emergency situations!

Now, time for the Fellowship to get some well-earned rest!
Maybe redo Christmas 🎄 😅
