Another transformative Weekend Workshop delivered in NSW 💙

These three-day intensive workshops are critical for achieving deeper behavioural and emotional change, and improved mental health outcomes for young people.

With dedicated time away from the demands of everyday life, participants can focus on personal growth, skill development and building meaningful connections in a supportive environment.

While the learning and support are at the heart of the experience, our 90s-themed entertainment night was a highlight, with bright colours, great music and plenty of laughter.

"You’s believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. You’s gave me hope when I couldn’t see it."

When Brittney* first joined the Youth Insearch program, she tested boundaries, struggled to trust others and often found it hard to see a positive future for herself. But through persistence, connection and a lot of hard work, things began to change 💙

Today, she's focused on building a life she can be proud of and using her strength, determination and sense of justice to support others who may be facing similar challenges.

Our Trainee Leaders recently completed Stage 2 of their Leadership Training at the Castlereagh Conference Centre 💙

Participants developed practical skills in leadership, communication, teamwork, facilitation, conflict resolution, child protection and trauma-informed support. Through a combination of structured learning and experiential activities, they gained greater confidence in their ability to support others and lead group sessions.

Developing young leaders is central to sustaining our peer-led model and creating long-term, community-led change in regional communities.

We recently attended the Tamworth Homeless Connect Day 💙

This community event connects people experiencing or at risk of homelessness and financial hardship with essential support services, including housing, healthcare, and practical assistance.

It was a valuable opportunity to connect with other service providers and speak with community members about the support we offer young people in the local community.

Continuity of care can make all the difference for a young person navigating mental health challenges 💙

This means that young people choose their own journey through . They can enter, exit and re-enter the program when they feel ready, accessing support in a way that reflects their needs and circumstances at different stages of life.

When support is available over time, young people are more likely to stay connected, seek help when they need it and continue progressing towards their goals.

A great day at the Tara Festival of Culture and Camel Races for the team 💙

Our team spent the day connecting with community members and visitors, sharing information about the support, programs and leadership opportunities Youth Insearch provides for young people and their families.

Highlights included the colourful Book Week parade, plenty of great conversations, and even meeting a few scaly local residents along the way 🐍

Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat. Opportunities like these allow us to strengthen connections across regional communities and raise awareness of the services, support and leadership pathways available to local young people, helping build stronger wellbeing outcomes for youth and families.

Network meetings are a key part of the support we provide to young people 💙

By bringing together family members, clinicians, schools and other support service providers, we:

• Develop shared goal
• Coordinate support
• Ensure everyone is working towards the same outcomes

This help create a clear pathway forward, keeping the young person at the center of the conversation 💬

Another successful workshop wrapped up for our Moreton Bay participants 💙

These live-in interventions are a core part of the Regional Reset program, giving young people the opportunity to build confidence, resilience and trust through adventure-based learning.

Stepping away from high-risk environments creates space for reflection, connection and growth. It allows participants to develop stronger relationships, practise self-regulation and build the skills needed to make healthier choices moving forward.
