Ok Tedi community refers to the over 147,000 residents across 158 villages in Papua New Guinea's Western Province whose lives are directly impacted by the Ok Tedi copper and gold mine. These communities shall receive 2500 sustainable menstruation kits and education by volunteers across Days for Girls Australia

Days for Girls Kingston TAS Australia Team thanks to all our Tasmania teams and we greatly appreciate the work of the Meander Valley Days for Girls team founded by Lois Beckwith and supported by Charlie Keane as co Leaders. As they deactivate as a team we encourage others to contact your Days for Girls - Derwent and Days for Girls Launceston Area TAS Australia Chapter as well as ours if you wish to help us make kits and continue the support of Days for Girls Nepal . Yesterday the stores were finally cleared at the Deloraine Rotary Pavilion and we enjoyed a special cake. Thanks Robyn and Linda for deliveri g components. 11 boxes of kits are off to PNG this month. Thank you all for your spirit, time and support with the sewing group…. You are all truly tremendous!!!
