❀️ For Vanessa, writing is much more than a hobby.
It's her creative outlet, her passion and one of the most important ways she communicates with the world.

As her MS symptoms progressed, writing became increasingly difficult. Eye strain, joint pain and difficulties with speech meant that both writing and communicating required more energy than ever before.

Vanessa worried that she might lose a part of her identity – something that had always brought her purpose, expression and connection.

Thanks to an MS Go for Gold Scholarship, Vanessa was able to access the ergonomic equipment and desktop setup recommended by her medical team, which would help her continue writing safely and comfortably.

The scholarship provided more than equipment.
It would help protect something deeply important to her – the ability to express herself, tell her stories and continue doing what she loves.

Stories like Vanessa's remind us that sometimes the most meaningful support is about preserving the things that make us who we are.

❀️ If you're living with MS and have a goal, passion or project you'd like to pursue, an MS Go for Gold Scholarship could help make it possible.

❀️ When Rhiannon was diagnosed with relapsing-remitting MS at just 26, life changed in ways she never expected.

As fatigue and weakness began affecting her daily life, activities that once felt routine became more challenging. Even going to the gym – something that had once given her confidence and strength – started to feel overwhelming.

But Rhiannon wasn't ready to give up on her goals.
Thanks to an MS Go for Gold Scholarship, she would be able to create a home gym space where she could exercise in a way that worked for her, at her own pace and in her own environment.

The scholarship would help remove barriers that had been standing in her way, giving her a safe and comfortable space to focus on her health, wellbeing and independence.

Stories like Rhiannon's are a reminder that sometimes the right support isn't about changing everything – it's about creating opportunities to keep moving forward.

❀️ If you're living with MS and have a goal, passion or project you'd like to pursue, an MS Go for Gold Scholarship could help make it possible.
