Leichhardt Rover Unit

Liechhardt Rovers Unit is for people aged 18 -26, we are part of the Scouts Victoria movment. Follow along for all our scouting adventures

Rover Scouts are the oldest section in Scouting, for 18 to 26 year olds. We provide service to the other scouting sections and the wider community. For recreation we attend statewide events such as Surfmoot and Mudbash, and have weekly meetings. Leichhardt Rover Unit meets on Thursday nights at 7:30.

Last night, we loaded our new buggy (which we have yet to name, BUT stay tuned to see what our livery will look like) onto the trailer to be taken to a mysterious location so we can install our roll cage! Yippee! Following this, we had a very entertaining night of Would I lie…none of us lied, somehow 🤷‍♀️.

(Please tell our unit leader that the mug is broken. I don’t think they know 😂)

Last week, we had heaps of fun going to the annual Winter Night Market at Queen Victoria Market! ❄️☃️ Lots of good food was had despite the rain and an eventful train ride home finished out adventurous outing! A bag of 10 donuts might have been consumed a little bit too quickly 😂

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Superhero Trivia night! It was a blast hosting and playing along with you all! Everyone’s competitive was ignited brighter than the sun, surprising us all. We hope you had heaps of fun and will join us again for an even more action packed trivia night!
Congratulations to all our winners! We hope that those who won the bottles of party liquid have partied hard and have had fun winning them! Congrats to all our raffle winners and to the teams that placed in the trivia night!
We hope to see you all in our next trivia night in amazing costumes just like our Superhero theme!

We’re readyyyyyy! We can’t wait to see everyone on Friday looking sharp in your superhero and supervillain costumes! If you haven’t bought tickets, you can buy them at the door! Remember to bring your ID!

Areeeeee you ready for our superhero trivia night? Leichhardt sure is ready! We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up and having a super time playing some trivia!! A quick warm up before the night. If you can answer all these questions easily then we think you will have a great time!!

Remember to bring food and drinks! 🥤🍷🍿🍕Please bring an appropriate amount of alcohol for the night. Bringing in an excessive amount of alcohol will be removed from you for the event and returned after. BUT bring all the food you want to! Water will be provided to keep all our heros and villains hydrated!

We can’t wait to see you at our superhero trivia night! We hope you have a great time battling everyone in rounds of trivia and winning all the games we have planned for you!

Do you have a way home from our ✨ Amazing ✨ Trivia Night? Make sure you do so you can get home safely afterwards! Blackburn train station is a short 10minute walk from our hall if you would like to use public transport.
There are also plenty of uber and taxi services as well!

We hope to see you there! We can’t wait to see you all in your superhero and supervillain costumes! There’s prizes to be won for the best costumes!

Last night we held a business meeting and planning night. We awarded Aleisha with a badge for her SIA that they completed recently. Great job Aleisha! After our formal event we had some sparring take place with some large foam ish sticks.
Leichhardt presents our Superhero Trivia Night next Friday 24th July! We hope to see you dressed in your superhero or supervillain costume ready to battle it out in Trivia!!!
Don’t forget that it is BYO food and drinks (alcohol is permitted) and make sure you have a way home!

Last Wednesday, Leichhardt had some fun playing Just Dance off Youtube and relaxing with some yoga. As brain rotted as we can be, we had Subway Surfers being played next to the Just Dance video so that we could lock in 😂 Flexibility was tested in the yoga. Glad to report no hamstrings were pulled.
