A repair cafe is a place where neighbours come together to share skills and learn to repair together over a cuppa!
A group of handy people volunteer as โrepairersโ and at repair cafe sessions visitors bring along broken household items for potential repair.
You will be introduced to an appropriately skilled volunteer and will work together to troubleshoot and hopefully fix your item together. We are successful roughly 85% of the time, but even if your item isnโt fixed youโll walk away with new skills and friends!
We are a free event, with tea, coffee and snacks available for a gold coin donation. Though we do welcome donations to help with our operating costs.
