Thank you to everyone for your wonderful Scarecrows entered in our first scarecrow competition.
The Bindoon Show was the perfect place to show off the many talents of community groups, friends and individuals.
The winner, which was chosen and announced by Shane Love MLA, was Lucy Brownlie. Lucy has been awarded with a $200 voucher to Moustachery BBQ Smoke Grill.
CWA Bindoon Belles want to sincerely thank the Bindoon Ag Show for allowing us to showcase and bring awareness to Year of the Woman Farmer!

📢 Friendly Reminder: Scarecrow Drop-Off Tomorrow! 🌾✨

Don't forget to drop off your amazing scarecrow creations at the Bindoon Oval tomorrow, Friday 16th October, between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm for the Bindoon Show!

Here are a few quick reminders before you head over:
🦺 Look for us: Keep an eye out for our team in the bright pink ‘Belles’ vests when you arrive!
🪵 Standing tall: Make sure to bring a star picket or stake so your scarecrow can stand up properly.
💵 Entry fee: $5 per entry, payable when you deliver your scarecrow.

We can't wait to see all of your brilliant "Woman Farmer" creations! 👩‍🌾🌾
Prize for the best creation will be awarded!

💕We love it when guests drop in to our meetings and tonight it was extra special!
Bindoon VBFB’s President, Craig Spencer presented the CWA Bindoon Belles with the Bindoon Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade President’s Award.
We received this award for outstanding commitment and support to the brigade, and for advancing the brigade’s mission and service to the community.

Don't let these school holidays slip by without taking on a fun, hands-on creative project!

Grab your family or friends, round up some recycled materials around the house, and build a scarecrow celebrating the Woman Farmer theme.

Bindoon Show

Delivery: Bring your creation (with a stake or star picket) to Bindoon Oval on Friday, October 16th (1:00 PM – 5:00 PM).
Entry: $5 entry fee.
Prize: Prize awarded for the best creation!

💕There is so much heart at the core of our agricultural community, and this is our chance to honor the incredible women who keep it growing! 🌾✨

As we celebrate the International Year of the Woman Farmer, we invite you to join us in bringing a little extra magic, creative spirit, and recognition to this year's Bindoon Show.

Whether it's a family weekend project, a tribute to a hardworking grandmother, mother, or sister, or just a fun way to raid the shed for recycled treasures, building a scarecrow is a wonderful way to tell a story and show appreciation for the women who nourish our lands and lives.
Every stitch, old flannel shirt, and straw hat will make our community display truly special!

Theme: Woman Farmer (made using recycled materials)
Entry Fee: $5 (payable upon delivery)
Delivery: Friday, October 16th, between 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the Bindoon Oval (please bring a star picket/stake so your scarecrow can stand tall!)
Display & Support: The Bindoon Belles will be setting up the display.
Collection: Sunday, October 18th from 8:00 AM

Prize for the best creation, but the real reward is seeing our community come together to honor our women farmers.

Grab your family, gather your recycled materials, and let’s make this display unforgettable! 🌻
