We recently shared this information with our clients and thought it may be helpful to share here too.

🎄✨ A Special Thank You to the CRRA Committee ✨🎄

As part of this year’s Shire of Chittering Community Christmas Tree Grotto Project, our Christmas tree has taken pride of place — bursting with colour, creativity, and community spirit. It’s the perfect moment to pause and recognise the incredible people who helped make Chittering Home Care what it is today.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the CRRA committee members who first sparked the idea of Chittering Home Care, championed it, and brought it to life. And to this day, they continue to support us in every way possible — with guidance, encouragement, hands-on help, and a whole lot of heart.

Without them, we simply wouldn’t be here.
Their dedication created the foundation that allows us to care for our seniors, support local families, and stay connected as a community.

Their creativity has also shone through in this year’s grotto project — just look at the beautiful design and the meaning woven into every detail of our tree. 🌟❤️

To the CRRA team:
Thank you for your vision.
Thank you for your persistence.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
And thank you for continuing to help us grow.

We appreciate you more than words can say.

🌿 Staying at Home Information Session 🌿

What a great morning we had today! A big thank you to Dex and Misty from HomeMade Support for running such an informative session about the new Staying at Home (SaH) program that comes into effect on 1st November.

We were also treated to a lovely morning tea, thanks to the Chittering Residents and Ratepayers Association — so much effort goes into making these events feel welcoming and connected. 💚

It was really nice to see so many familiar faces (and some new ones too!) come along to learn more about what’s ahead. Thanks to everyone who made the time to join us!

🚐 CRRA’s First Bus Trip with Chittering Home Care 🚐

What a fantastic day out for our very first CRRA bus trip with Chittering Home Care!

We set off from the Chinkabee Complex with a wonderful group of clients, support workers, and committee members. Our first stop was the Watheroo Museum – a beautifully presented little treasure that’s well worth a visit! We enjoyed a delicious morning tea there before continuing on to Carnamah.

Lunch was served at the charming "One L of a Good Feed" café – a beautifully restored old church, now serving hearty meals and country hospitality. It was the perfect place to relax, recharge, and share a few laughs.

The highlight of the day (and the inspiration behind the trip!) was, of course, a visit to see the World’s Biggest Tractor – an absolute engineering masterpiece that had everyone amazed. It really has to be seen to be believed!

A big thank you to all who came along and helped make the day such a success. We can’t wait for the next adventure!
