Bibra Lake parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 8am at Bibra Lake, WA, Australia. Bibra Lake parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

Finish funnel etiquette

Don’t be a funnel ducker or a token magpie!
Follow our finish funnel etiquette and help everything run smoothly.

Keep moving in order

After you cross the finish, don’t stop – keep moving forward in order and follow any funnel managers’ instructions. As mentioned earlier, staying in the finish position you entered means you’ll receive the right token and get your correct finishing time.

Only enter the funnel if you do the course

If you haven’t completed the course, please stay away from the funnel to avoid any chance of confusion in results.

Scan and return your token

After leaving the funnel, make sure you have a scannable version of your personal barcode handy, like an Ultraband from the ID Range or displayed in the parkrun App. A volunteer will scan your personal barcode and finisher token. We know the tokens look lovely, but please return them before heading off for coffee – we need them for next time!

Do you always listen to the pre-event briefing? 👀

It might only take a few minutes, but the pre-event briefing plays an important role in every parkrun.

Here are five reasons why it's worth taking a moment to listen ✋

What a great morning with many PBs and milestones! Hope you liked Pete’s little warmup today!

Big thank you to all our volunteers today 🫶🫶🫶

A few reminders:

- please keep left and respect(!!!) other park users! We don’t have exclusive rights for the path! We have received a lot of complaints recently especially parkrunners being rude to other park user. If the council gets more complaints about this issue they can shut down our parkrun! Let the Rundirector know if you notice antisocial behaviour from our runners so we can address it with the individual immediately.

- please don’t duck out in the funnel! If you didn’t bring your barcode or you’re not registered, continue your way to the finish token and decline it or drop your token in the buckets next to the barcode scanners. It might not seem a big deal for you but for the results it impacts everyone behind you and the time difference can be massive.
Unfortunately we had so many ducking out and it messed up the results. We are sorry if that affected your time today, there is nothing we can do 😕
If you see someone ducking out in front of you, let the finish token volunteer know, so that they can remove the token.

Our Event team works hard to make every Saturday successful and we appreciate your support to keep Bibra Lake parkrun safe and fun for everyone.
