URGENT FOSTER REQUIRED for 2 year old Letti in Hampton Park Victoria. Please read Letti’s information carefully.

Letti will need experienced confident handler as she presents with fear based behaviours that will need guidance and training . I’m told Letti is to be collected by council tomorrow which I’ve confirmed with Ranger. If collected Letti will be under the control of LDH. Ranger describes her as a lovely dog who does show fear reactivity in certain situations.

Letti :-
- has been kept as an outside dog only
- left alone for long periods each day
- reactive to cars, bikes and pedestrians
- is good in car
- pulls on lead when walked outside of the home
- shows resource guarding with food and toys
- not socialised with any other animals including other dogs or children
- may show fear reactions to men.

I’ve asked Ranger to pass my contact to LDH in the event of her collection so we can try to find a place for Letti during their 14 day hold but LDH may choose not to work with us or deem Letti as a non release.

FUNF

Its been a month since Zac and I adopted Funf and we are so grateful that we did. He is the sweetest, most loveable, intelligent puppy and he has been such an incredible addition to our family. He has been loving meeting new friends and family, going to day care 2x a week and having lots of play time. He has really come into his own and seems to be thriving. Ive attached a few photos of him from his first month.

We love him so much and are so grateful to have been able to find him. Thank you so much for all the work you and your team have done to help him and keep him healthy and happy. And thank you for helping connect us with him.

Growly ❤️ aka Grr Bear.

I’ve watched this little one grow under the wing of his Mumma Mia. Both came into care after Mia lost the rest of her litter- Growly was all of 10 days old when I first met him in January.

He’s since thrived and is proving to be a unique lad who has cemented his place in my heart and the rescue. He shares the birthday of my beloved Braxton 🕊️ - exactly 10 years apart who I lost to cancer in March. He shares my Braxtons traits.

No he’s not for adoption. For the first time I’ve decided to be selfish and make one, of the hundreds of amazing dogs I meet, my own.

Welcome Growly as my 2OIC 🤗. Our adventures will be tales to tell I trust for many years to come.

From a worried Mumma of a sole puppa (now called Growly - or Grr Bear when he’s winning hearts) to winning her own hearts in her own right.

Mumma Mia ❤️ landed her adoption and her own family where she can now be the puppa and get all the attention she so craved. Her transition from a nervous, skinny teen mum to a confident happy girl was amazing to watch. Her first week on adoption trial feedback …

It was too quiet this evening coming home without our Aunty Karen 🤩 about. Xena is telling me something isn’t right tonight .

Karen has been at rescue for several weeks offering invaluable help, evening massages for our Scout ❤️ and personal care for Xena ❤️ who was Karen’s “Rottie Express” bus accommodation buddy as she recovered from her double TPLO surgery, amongst doing so many other things around the place.

Karen was amazing….patient and understanding, giving emotional support through a difficult couple of months and I can’t thank her enough for standing beside us all.

It’s this support that gives me the resilience and confidence to move forward- from someone who is on the ground here - not just working the daily duties with the dogs but truly caring for them and getting to know them each as the unique and amazing dogs that they are.

We miss you Karen ! We thank you deeply,

With that leaving $25686 still to raise to fully fund the build. It is dog Mum’s like Mia that will also use this complex!
