We had our Christmas breakup lunch meeting on Monday. Unfortunately due to family illness I was unable to attend in the end. However, I have been sent a picture of our amazing Christmas Hampers, the contents having been donated by our ladies. Would have been fun hearing your number being called out🧑‍🎄🎁🎄

Lunch this month was at The Hill Restaurant in the Parkhill Plaza Shopping Centre. 13 ladies enjoyed the meal and each others company. Meals were excellent. This was our last lunch for the year as December is always so busy. After our Xmas club meeting/lunch on the 1st December, there will be only our morning tea left December 11th at the Day Dreamers Cafe in Beaconsfield.

Our club sponsor, Summerset Retirement Villages, is hosting the below event on Friday, November 7th, between 3.00-5.00pm. As they monetarily sponsor 3 extra students for us, this will be an enjoyable way to support them. If anyone is interested in the village, appointments will be arranged at a future time, not on the day of this event. Contact details are below. For ladies attending our lunch meeting, on the 3rd November, there will be a Board for you to register your interest, following which I will pass this information to the village.

Two groups got together in September for morning tea then a lovely lunch at Club Officer, which was enjoyed by all apparently. I have been overseas for the month, so relied on the girls to send me some photos. Our birthday lunch meeting is tomorrow, 22 years young, so looking forward to that💐

Had a really great lunch today at Stamford House in Rowville. 28 ladies came and enjoyed a lovely lunch in this beautiful old house. It was built in 1856 by James Quirk. Was subsequently bought by Frederick Row and eventually turned into a horse stud centre and centre for social occasions. Rowville got its name from this family. It has had a long and checkered history since until 1988 the Knox Council bought it and restored it so we can appreciate what it was like in its heyday.
